1

I suppose I am a lunatic
A heretic heaven knows
Having a hell of a time I rhyme
Whatever comes to what never goes

Ridiculous and sublime

2

Grandma took note on her calendar
Of the phases of the moon
Blaming my own on it and not her
Who was the crazy one? Two we were

Lunatics too late too soon

3

Suppose I am a lunatic when
Unlike the Iron Grandmother
Whatever comes and I never go
Almost like forever then

Rhyming time for all I know
Howling at the moon

Your grandmother must have been so cool! I, too, keep a lunar calendar on my kitchen cupboard! I see my shrink every Thursday at 11:00.

Deep and intriguing! Questions I ponder, resolve & then grapple with again. I was drawn in for sure! Excellent write!
