The Job (Poetry) - 7/16/2009 8:39:54 AM
Hi Mark, This speaks loudly of a cop's business, and written like I can almost hear the song in it... a certain rhythm to it. I appreciate the words "you realize evil stands close to your shadow" as it relates to a job. I've experienced some horrendous things at the job I'm doing now, and this job isn't even closely related to a cop's job. Thank you for sharing such realness and pride and honor in your work...

The Job (Poetry) - 7/15/2009 9:03:18 PM
Oh boy how you speak from your heart, bringing all the realities home. Certainly not an easy job, in a way and thankless one...
Be always safe,

What a horrible fate! You have a gift of telling this tragic tale where it pains the soul. It's maddening that children have to suffer through this.

My Safe Place (Poetry) - 7/13/2009 1:00:23 PM
MY LORD...WHAT CAN I SAY...? THE ABSENCE OF THE ELOQUENT FLAIR OF ARTISTIC VOCABULARY IS SO EVIDENT AND THEN IT IS SO UNNEEDED, IN THIS PROFOUNDLY SIMPLE, WELL WRITTEN WORK THAT IS LADENED WITH THE SAD BEAUTY AND RICHNESS OF A DEPICTION THAT IS SO VIVIDLY CLEAR IN ITS DESCRIPTION OF THE DEVESATING EMOTIONS OF DENIAL, CONFUSION, LOST AND PAIN INFLICTED ON A INNOCENT CHILD...WHO BECOMES A VICTIM ALSO. I WAS THERE IN THAT CREVICE BETWEEN THE WALL AND THE HEATER AND I HEARD THE SOUNDS...THE SOUNDS THAT I KNOW THE CHILD CAN
NEVER FORGET...BUT CAN...WITH THE HELP OF GOD...FIND THE STRENGTH,
DAY AFTER DAY TO GO ON. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR SHARING AND GOD BLESS AND KEEP YOU. JOYCE * HIS INSPIRATIONS.
