Marsha is right people. She knows what she is talking about too. Thanks to her the movie rights to my first book were optioned by a huge company, Trancas Films. Had I not found Marsha "Unlawful Flight" would probably have never been published. Thanks Marsha, and keep up the good work!

Marsha, I've been writing and attempting to get published for twenty-six years and now have two of my three books published and am going through the first round of professional editing on my third. My first book, "The Climbing Boy" would make a great Disney type project, but it must be presented through an agent which I do not have. I'd love to get a copy to you to see if this is somthing you may like to represent... To Disney or whomever.

In a lot of respects, we seem to be on the right road to acceptance. However, we still have a long way to go. Tolerance, compassion and understanding are important factors for our future. This is a powerful write. It reminds us that every life is valuable. Hugs,
Sheila

Powerful poem! I believe every human being should read it to remind us that we are all equal, and that we must never forget!

Your comparison of dreams to "sparks of light" really hit me!
In the context of your poem, they are the only things we have that keeps us from being swallowed by the darkness.
Thanks for thinking deeply about life, and taking the time to distill it into such as gem as this. Thankyou Marsha.

What a rough time that was, hoping it does not come again to anyone. So many on the run and survived and came to this country for freedom to worship their God. Heard the story as a teenager in school and the awfulness of it will never leave my mind.

Hi Marsha. I read your poem,"To Life". I found it sad, truthful and at the same time beautiful. I am not Jewish but have a few friends that are. We Canadians are taught History, which is a cumpulsory subject. The "Holocaust" is one facet of our ww2 studies. Please feel free to visit my sites at either www.com/kendoo or here in the "Den"

Unfortunately, under many different forms, in many other ways, hatred, war, exclusion, torture are happening again.
We should not forget, but we should also see the different facets of pain and war. That is a far more difficult form of awareness.
Thank you for sharing,
Axilea

This poem has answered the long awaited question I have thought about for years......"You have the power
to say no
we didn't."
Thank you for the courage to pen the truth.

You raise a good point, Marsha, that only by shedding light on darkness will we make it disappear. Some people do not like to hear of any negativity. In a perfect world, it would not be necessary.

I agree with Lori; a gem of a write, and a most powerful message.
