You Are My Heart (Short Story) - 12/29/2012 11:13:19 AM|
Mothers are special and God sent aren't they sweetheart. How warm is the santuary of a mother's heart. You are right, she is your heart but so are you hers. People who are not afraid to show their true feelings write like you do. Thank you. Dominic Caruso...

A Ringing Phone (Short Story) - 9/8/2012 10:01:38 AM
WHAT IS SO DEEPLY SAD ABOUT THIS STORY IS THE 'POINT' THAT I BELIEVE YOU, AS THE WRITER, HAS CONVEYED. HOW MANY LENNIE WADE'S EXIST? ON THE SURFACE WE READ THE 'HORRIBLE' STORIES ALL THE TIME, BUT THE 'SEED' OF THE HORROR IS SO MUCH DEEPER THAN WHAT WE READ. AND DOES THROWING ONE IN JAIL, VOID OF ANY PSYCHOLOGICAL THERAPY OR INTERVENTIONS HELP? UNDERSTANDABLY, IN MANY CASES...NOT AT ALL. WELL DONE AND ANOTHER ONE FOR MY LIBRARY. THANKS JC. LOVE, BLESSINGS AND FAITH...JOYCE * HIS INSPIRATIONS

"WE DON'T NEED TANGIBLE FACT TO PROVE BASIC TENETS THEY ARE ABSOLUTE"
THIS IS SO TRUE! THE 'GIFT' OF SALVATION(WHICH IS IN A MOMENT, FOR JUSTIFICATION IS GIVEN INSTANTLY)DOES NOT DEPEND ON INTELLECTUAL BABBLE BUT THE GENUINENESS OF OUR FAITH IN CHRIST. I LOVED THIS! THANKS FOR SHARING...LOVE, BLESSINGS AND FAITH...JOYCE * HIS INSPIRATIONS

Catholic Sins (Short Story) - 4/27/2012 10:04:49 PM
A sad Story, JC. I like the Southern dialect. Your story reminds me of the Taylor Caldwell books I read in my youth.

Love is for the Birds (Short Story) - 3/3/2012 11:48:03 PM
Lovely descriptions of the birds. It looks like Matt is right. She's not a serious lover, for him, that it. Have the flight of hummingbirds helped her realise this. A lovely story with a tinge of sadness. thanks for reading my poem.
The Grade (Short Story) - 3/3/2012 6:50:04 PM
Some wonderful recollections, JC. Life was so different then, wasn't it? My 11 year old granddaughter visited not so long ago and was bored because she didn't have friends to play with, computer games etc. So different to the 9 year old in your tale. My thoughts are with the part of the house which was shut up. Some wonderful things to be discovered there after Grandma Edwina passed away. Thank you for reading my piece.
Freedom Is Never Free (Short Story) - 2/29/2012 4:13:23 PM
A beautiful story, so touching and compassionate. How many times have we heard of dogs performing acts of courage or mercy? I just read recently where a young boys dog died, which he handled with quiet bravery. When his parents question why people live so much longer than dogs he had the answer. He told them people have to live a long time to learn how to be kind and love one another. But when dogs are born they already know that.
Mystical Beauty in Hues of Blue (Short Story) - 2/26/2012 7:16:36 PM
I love your story. I'll have to change my image about mermaids - I always think of mermaids with fair hair. Thanks for reading the excerpt of my new novel. I had a trying time writing the book. And getting the battle facts correct. Perhaps that's why I'm writing a Regency now.
Freedom Is Never Free (Short Story) - 2/20/2012 10:01:34 PM
A sad sad story JC. I'm glad that Carla didn't die for nothing. She's left behind a sister and a nephew whom I'm sure are on the right track to leading a good life.
Love is for the Birds (Short Story) - 2/20/2012 8:00:36 PM

Freedom Is Never Free (Short Story) - 2/20/2012 7:14:50 PM
I LIKE THE COMBINED MESSAGE; THERE IS NO GREATER LOVE THAN ONE WHO IS WILLING TO LAY DOWN THEIR LIFE FOR ANOTHER AND...ONE NEVER KNOWS THE LIVES THEY TOUCH AND CHANGE JUST BY SHARING THEIR STORY. A REALLY GOOD WORK...ENJOYED. THANK YOU. LOVE, BLESSINGS AND FAITH...JOYCE * HIS INSPIRATIONS

Raging Fire (Poetry) - 3/19/2012 10:34:16 AM
At least the dogs survived and no one was injured...possessions are replaceable, with the exception of photographs and keepsakes. It was nevertheless traumatic and an unpleasant experience that can only serve as a reminder of our mortality. Condlences.
Raging Fire (Poetry) - 3/17/2012 9:11:02 AM

Raging Fire (Poetry) - 2/11/2012 6:05:11 PM
Very nice J C, most certainly, though sometimes hidden amongst our sorrow and grief,
there is something to be greatful for. And often enough it is or will become more valuable than what has been lost.
peace and love
Raging Fire (Poetry) - 1/8/2012 6:01:58 PM
It would be dreadful to be burnt out. The scene looked similar to an Australian bush fire destroyed landscape except the trees in your photo have straight trunks.
thanks for reading my poem
