I WOULD SAY THAT THESE PHRASES ARE THE RAMBLINGS OF A 'YOUNG', SEARCHING HEART BUT, ACTUALLY...WHEN ONE IS SEARCHING FOR 'LOVE'(INTIMATE COMPANIONSHIP)...IT MATTERS NOT WHETHER THE INDIVIDUAL IS YOUNG OR OLD...THE SAME TOPSY, TURVY EMOTIONS ARE STILL INVOLVED. It seems the healing came quickly in this poem, but I am positive it wasn't quick in real life. I get it that you moved through the mourning period and horror in the gist of making the poem effective. It worked . . .
