That we would even reach out to our nearest neighbors more would be a better world. We wait til tragedy strikes before even attempting to help each othe. We all need friends, and people who care about us besides our families. Love is universal and should be carried on by all and shown to our fellow men.

I like this very much thanks for this. I am always changing my negative thoughts to positive ones, I like how you say to have a positive thought every day in everything you do and whatever you say. I like that thanks for this reminder.

This was sad. It reminds me of how my mom looked forward to meeting my dad last year...

I agree with your contention, Jill, in the summary. And I am moved by the sentiment in this piece greatly. Well done!

Positive (Poetry) - 6/3/2006 1:48:43 PM
Positvely yes. That should be the wakening thought.
I must be positive at 2a.m. tomorrow morning as I set off on holiday. It will be a quiet run from Dumfries to Newcastle Airport and these words you have written will be in my mind.
Thank you sincerely

This is a deep and sad poem, Jill, but like Jerry, I could tell from your comments at the beginning that you know how precious both life and time are. Despite how difficult life becomes, don't ever give up!
Take care,

You comments before the poem tell me that your time has not run out.

Positivity doesn't cost a thing and you are so very right and this is what I always and will continue to write about just the positive. The negative is trying to take over this world and that is why God has blessed us with the gift of writing.

For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son so that whosoever beleiveth on him shall have everlastibg life. This is what I got from this poem. God bless you.

Dear Jill
This is wonderful! I love your first statement too ... a good reminder of what love truly is! We often forget and attempt to transform what isn't into what is!
Divinely done!
