You may be a Nutt (ha ha) but you sure can write!
Lost in the Mist of Time (Book) - 11/4/2006 5:08:37 PM
Author Karen M Nutt has penned a tale of romance, magic and suspense that litteraly keeps readers on the edge of their seat. Aislinn Hennessy and Dougray Fitzpatrick come to life easily and become the reader's close friends. Nutt makes the plot and emotions seem to flow effortlessly, a task not easily done by most.
Nutt is the author to watch. If Lost In The Mists of Time is typical of her writing, she's going to soar straight to the top of the charts. I can not wait to see what she comes out with next.

The Princess and the Frog (Short Story) - 1/9/2011 4:44:16 PM
Very moralistic skit of getting what one pays for. You're right in the fact that a toad will always be a toad, but a beautiful blonde does not always have to be an Ari Head.
Your friend from Southern California, Mark
Shattered Illusions (Short Story) - 6/28/2010 9:15:16 PM
I think this one can be a lot longer. You really need to flesh this one out because it's got some good atmospherics.

Shattered Illusions (Short Story) - 10/17/2007 11:01:39 AM
Wow! Now this is a STORY, my friends! The truly classic, Gothic old-time tale. I love Brona---a living, breathing character---and her give-and-take with Liam. A wonderful, character-driven piece.
The Princess and the Frog (Short Story) - 10/11/2007 11:46:33 AM
This is a wonderful story. I am surprised that you have not got a lot of comments. It must be new. I love stories that help the young think about relationships before they begin them. I just wish they would read these stories.
Haunted Hollywood Tour: Pete Duel is Missed by All (Article) - 10/22/2010 11:30:05 AM
Hi Karen. I don't get the title. Are there reports of hauntings by Pete Duel? Maybe this is just how the tour companies attempt to fill their busses. One reason I ask is because I have been totally unable to stop thinking about him and was wondering why, after almost 39 years since his death I am just about obsessed.
Also, where did you get the blood alcohol level? One friend said he wasn't drinking earlier and then Dianne Rey said he was plastered. I was wondering what his BAL was. Thanks.
Famous Ghosts Who Haunt The Hollywood Forever Cemetery (Article) - 6/28/2010 11:26:40 PM

Haunted Hollywood Tour: Pete Duel is Missed by All (Article) - 7/16/2009 4:00:32 AM
Oh he was Gorgeous, I used to love "Alias Smith and Jones" and I clearly remember what I was doing when told about his death too. Was at Primary School, in the classroom, was winter for us, and we were all dancing around to music to keep warm. I was heartbroken, coz I had such a teen crush on him :)
Dunno about hauntings, but he is missed 4 sure
Thanx

Ghost Stories (Article) - 6/21/2008 7:29:31 PM
Nice to see that i'm not alone. I have a resident ghost that follows me from place to place. He is always with me and I fondly call him Robert. I can always tell when he's around because the hair on my arms stands up and I get the chills. I have lived in a few houses that have been haunted. I think its cool as long as they aren't evil.
Ghost Stories (Article) - 6/21/2008 9:53:41 AM
Karen,
A very thought provoking write for sure. My spiritual mentor, a devout Catholic priest once told me that ghosts are spirits roaming the world needing prayers. I see some unique parallelism in your story and yes, thoughts are things...
Aloha and best

Brush up on your Irish Superstitions! (Article) - 9/20/2007 6:00:35 PM
My grandparents told me some of these: others I have read in a book. I know a good way to break curses, and this is for people who take it seriously, not for people who think it is a joke although they can try it to see what happens. There are free prayer books given at this website.

History of Halloween in Ireland (Article) - 9/8/2007 3:53:13 PM
This piece has answered questions I didn't have, gave me answers I didn't think I could expect and given strength to backburning theories.
This is a dusty book (subject) that I feel needs to be much more explored!!!!!!!!

Midsummer's Eve (Article) - 6/11/2007 5:44:34 AM
This is a nice view of the magical history of old. I am sure the present has not shadowed the beliefs, and the understanding of wisdom gained from its inheritance. Nice work on this view of the present past...

Tapestry of Time (Poetry) - 10/2/2007 12:02:45 AM
"I took a step forward, almost afraid that the vision before me would vanish and I would be left alone."
As human beings, we are constantly experiencing the fear of loss, because we have a conscience.
But a love " woven into the tapestry of time" seems to be a lifetime experience, maybe even beyond.
Greetings,
Axilea

Tapestry of Time (Poetry) - 7/5/2007 9:22:58 PM
I was rambling about...as I often do in here...and ran across this throughly delightful and well written romance.
Your choice of putting it into prose poem format, I feel added to the beauty of this piece, which flows splendidly. It is a classy and classical piece.
