I felt this through and through...loss of love and friends sometimes overwhelmes me! Panic takes place and you don't know how to deal with it! I try to keep my mind and heart in focus on the smell of the rose and remmeber the fragrance that goes on and on...helps me to know ..this to will pass.

Hurtful poem, Liana, as so many loves are cast into the winds and given freedom when freedom wasn't what was needed. A passionate piece of writing that told of the joy and the dark that displaced that joy. I agree with D Johnson, that verse IS the poem.

From the busy streets of Moscow to the sun-baked shores of San Diego, the cry of your "Broken Heart" resonates with every creature of God's creation that yearns for a loving and enduring relationship, "...same as a dying flower yearns for rain."
Having enjoyed such a relationship for over 60 years, I know from experience that lightning and hail are part of life and part of any ongoing relationship. My only fear now is of what the great Kahlil Gibran speaks in his "The Prophet"--
"For ever has it been that
love knows not its own depth
until the hour of separation."

Very nice and quite vivid! Leaves go through a lot no matter what the season, they are beautiful during the seasons, yet they cluther the yard and then often raked and disposed of or burned. Leaves can also fertilized the land as they wither into the ground and even more so some can withstand frost and freezing only to return again all pretty and green. I love it and thanks for sharing Liana!

As always you bring us such tenderly beautiful poetry! The change of the season, especially fall(autumn) captures such pivotal moments in one's life. It is like shedding a skin to growing another. I feel that Autumn is dynamic because Natures teaches us that we can always evolve into another facet of life, it is a good thing for sure!

And so rules the joy and tragedy of our uncertain life, doors close while new doors open, life continuing without us while we want only that someone remembers we were here. But we were somewhere before we came and now, much as leaves, move on to other trees, all part of God's great plan. Life: what an extraordinary adventure!

An excellent message, dear Liana, with rhythm and rhyme flowing like an unrestrained stream. "point of no return" ... yes, the rubicon many go over that they can't turn back from. Sadly I've experienced this much in my life. Many failed friendships and relationships that, no matter what you do, remain only a wasteland of memories.

Liana, I don't know a thing about the Russian language, but I'm quite certain it's very difficult to translate a poem and not lose something in the rhythm, but it would seem to be especially so when it comes to the rhyming aspect. However, I just have to say that this one most certainly still has all the heart and soul.

Oh my. I didn't know he'd passed away.
He was such a kind man, often times offering to pay my subs. And when battling in court over my son, he got AD members to write to the judge.
Great tribute for a lovely gentle man.
Farewell Georg! Maybe you'll bump in to my dad who died a few weeks back.
