I've mentioned elsewhere, how you view what happened on 9/11 directly relates to one's view of the soveriegnty of God versus the free will of man. As the poem hints at, this is actually a false dichotomy. It's true that men knocked the towers down. It's also true God in His sovereignty could have chosen to protect us and did not--because we have lost His blessing due to our national sins. So it really doesn't matter whether He knocked them down Himself, or we simply lost his covering and protection and that has left us vulnerable. I tend to lean more towards the later, I'm actually not a Calvinist, but that still leaves us with towers falling because as our sins angered the Lord, He did not protect us. Either way, our nation needs to repent, for the Lord is displeased with us.

Andrea a powerful witness this whole poem. A day that will never erase. I cannot agree with the wraft of God in this one God has always allowed mankind the CHOICE the things you bring to mind human lusts, sins of money power, greed it is mankind that caused the towers to fold. Hatred, jealous men that are hurtful.
Thank you for sharing
Blessings,
Joselyn

Andrea,
A powerful, thought provoking reminder; I don't think God caused it, but allowed it. Why? He has His reasons; He is in control. If He allowed it, it must have broken His heart...Well done!
(((HUGS))) and love, karla.
