After reading your story I wondered how I would have reacted to that experience. If nothing else, it would have changed my perspective of the real world. Several years ago I had an out of body experience. I had no control over what happened, but it did change my opinion about an afterlife. No doubt the phenomenon you and your wife experienced has altered your views about alien life. Considering the vastness of the universe, there is a high probability that intelligent life exists on other worlds.

I am convinced that the explanation(s) which you have given for this phenomenon are what you want to believe. I have another, older explanation which I would like to share with you. Mine might not be as detailed, but I do not believe that it is future beings taking pictures of you. You may visit me at my page. I have an essay which was listed as a short story and the name of it is "Does Satan exist?" It by no means exhausts the subject, but it gives an alternative answer to freak occurences that happen all around us. No one has ever proven to my satisfaction that Satan does not exist. However, there are far more commonplace occurences that are not considered weird such as human cruelty or selfishness that also prove that our world is corrupted. The one about childhood leukemia offers a website which I hope you will visit. I can give it to you here: http://www.christianword.org I hope you will read it too. Let me add this. Even if you find a logical explanation for the flashing lights that occurred in your home, my convictions will not change. Yes, I know that there are logical scientific explanations for things that many have attributed to satanic activity, but there are areas that these same scientists just do not cover because they think that someone has already covered them satisfactorily but have not and perhaps never will.

Beautiful James!
We do feel and communicate by our hearts ... and if we purify our minds, we enable mind and matter to become one: as they ultimately are. Then we are working with full God force. The Buddhists say 'mind and matter are two sides of the same coin; and mind matters most'. Therefore, it is our duty to purify our minds ... and thus operate with higher qualities of loving-kindness, trust, generosity, innocence etc...Which naturally abide within us before conditioning etc corrupts our essential selves.
