Mom Your Boyfriend Molested Me (Book) - 4/27/2009 1:28:12 PM
Very excellent balance of character setup and slow rolling suspense that kept me reading to the end. It kept the momentum of "what, who, when, and how" all the way through which is key to good short story writing. Bravo! ~Jonathan~

The Beauty of Life (Book) - 11/25/2008 11:32:38 AM

Mom, Your Boyfriend Molested Me (Short Story) - 5/19/2009 9:29:56 AM
This is so more real than anyone can imagine. I personally have never had to go through this with my daughters, but I do know some families that did. How in the world, can a mother not believe in her child? That is the most pertinent question I would ask. They don't deserve to be a parent. The first and foremost duty of a parent is to protect your child from harm. This parent as evident to this reader, did not fulfill her duty. She should be prosecuted by the law. That child should be with her "real" father/parent just to be protected from further harm. That child will never feel safe for the rest of her life. Her childhood was stolen and she was dropped into the world of child abuse. How sad... Read my poem Meet Me Under The Willow Tree, it is going to be the title for my book about this subject. Great story telling. you have no idea how "real" this is going to be for many many people that read this story about Blair. Thank you for sharing. Much peace, love, and light, Amber "V"

The Picture of Easter (Short Story) - 4/16/2009 1:17:57 AM
My, my, my, Marie. What a wonderful poem about Easter. We should worship Him like we do at Easter throughout the year! Yes, He does not ask much from us. But do we remember His sacrafice as much throughout the year? This is a wake up call for all to come to the cross every day. Amen

Mom, Your Boyfriend Molested Me (Short Story) - 4/3/2009 9:10:42 AM
This is such a heart wrenching story for it is also one that happens all too often in our society, and sadly it is not just strangers or even boyfriends but family members and parents who have known or thought they knew each other for long time periods. Fee

Finally, Symone May See a White Christmas (Short Story) - 1/4/2009 5:33:17 AM
ThiDianas sounds a wonderful story. Here in UK we just take snow for granted...in the early 60's we had a slide in our playground that lasted from January to Easter! This is the kind of story that teaches us that these things in life are the important things...I can't wait to read it...

Finally, Symone May See a White Christmas (Short Story) - 12/26/2008 11:18:10 AM
lol I've always known snow but still it excites me when it first falls. Glad your granddaughter is doing well in college. Liz

Finally, Symone May See a White Christmas (Short Story) - 12/19/2008 8:25:06 AM
hee, hee, hee... I remember when our first two girls came home from Haiti. My husband told them that it was going to get so cold that you could see your breath outside. They laughed and laughed at him and said, "Oh, Dad!" (Knowing he was joking...) Imagine their surprise when it really DID get that cold! hee, hee... They reacted the same way when he told them that it would get so cold that if they put a cup of water outside it would freeze... They were SO amazed when it really happened... :~) Cryssa

Mom, Who's Paying for All That Stuff? (Short Story) - 12/18/2008 7:43:00 AM

Happy Mother's Day (Short Story) - 5/13/2008 7:54:35 PM
Well said, Mary! You know how tough and supreme males claim to be? I have never met a man who was tough enough to be a mother. It is the tough-love of a mother which correctly guides her children into adulthood. Parenthood is not what a man does best. Mothers rule!

Happy Mother's Day (Short Story) - 5/12/2008 9:25:04 PM

15 Year Old Girl Gang Raped at Home Coming Dance: Nobody Came To Her Rescue (Article) - 10/29/2009 4:50:24 PM
As a father of three daughters and now grandfather of three more girls this made me literally sick to my stomach, no punishment is strong enough for those that did this and the good samaritan clause should allow that those who watched and did nothing also be charged and made an example of. We should all be there to help and protect our children. Sad story. fee

Child In Runaway Hot Air Balloon: Was It A Hoax? (Article) - 10/21/2009 11:37:12 AM
It smelled fishy and it was fishy. Excellent article. Liz

Child In Runaway Hot Air Balloon: Was It A Hoax? (Article) - 10/16/2009 6:30:09 PM
It does sound a bit fishy. Also, the family made calls to FAA and the local TV station before calling 911. On that home video, the little boy got close to the camera and said, I'm going to sneak in. I don't know why the family released this video, doesn't seem like a good idea.

Child In Runaway Hot Air Balloon: Was It A Hoax? (Article) - 10/16/2009 2:37:57 PM
Hmnnnn seems pretty fishy doesn't it, and if it is a hoax I hope they prosecute the father to the full extent of the law. fee

Michael Jackson Laid to Rest 70 Days After Death (Article) - 9/26/2009 7:15:15 PM
You know Mary I personally blame the Jackson’s private physician For the past 4 years I have been under pain management Its scary doctor prescribe me pain killers like if he was prescribing candy And these are heavy duty drugs I don’t take them during the day I prefer to suffer and take home remedies I only take them at night Excellent article Michael will be missed Wishing you Peace Love and Light …Hugssss…Yolie

Blood Sucking Media Leave Michael Jackson's Children Alone (Article) - 9/8/2009 10:29:40 AM
I agree 100% with Mary Coe. Crucifixion by mainstream media must stop and we are doing something about it. Join us at a new Yahoo Group where our goal is vindication of Michael Jackson in mainstream media. Search at Yahoo Groups for "vindication better than tributes."

Michael Jackson, a Father, a Son, a Relative (Article) - 8/28/2009 4:22:22 PM
Thank you for this heartfelt sharing of what Michael Jackson meant to you and so many others. He gave so fully of his talent and himself that it's difficult not to feel a sense of personal loss at his physical absence. But tributes like this will keep him alive in people's hearts for centuries. Aberjhani

Racism Still Runs High In The United States (Article) - 8/27/2009 7:12:42 PM
I have found out that a lot of the police officers are Racist and ready to judge any one they don't like and that is so wrong they represent the low I agreed with Regis review Your article speaks volume!! wishing you Peace Love and Light...Yolie

Racism Still Runs High In The United States (Article) - 8/2/2009 10:05:01 AM
Police officers and minorities should listen to each others. Police officers should not be the enemy; nor should they treat minorities in a way that they or looked upon as the enemy. You make some excellent points in this article, Mary. We have these same issues in Canada. Love and blessings, Regis

Racism Still Runs High In The United States (Article) - 7/31/2009 4:34:43 PM
Beryl McMullen, I totally agree. Once the professor proved that it was his home and he lived there; that should have been the end of it. The police office should have left.

Racism Still Runs High In The United States (Article) - 7/31/2009 3:58:03 PM
I live in Canada – But the way I see it is once the professor had proof he was in his own home the police officer should have let him go, for what useful purpose was served by handcuffing the man, except for a one man up man ship. . .

Racism Still Runs High In The United States (Article) - 7/31/2009 4:55:42 AM
Mary, You expressed this very well. You are right racism still exist, but not every situation is a racist one. It is always easy to assume the worst. Nicole

Racism Still Runs High In The United States (Article) - 7/31/2009 1:27:38 AM
I can’t help but wonder how Mr. Gates would respond to the police if they telephoned him at work one day and said, “There’s two guys trying to force open the front door of your house, Oh wait a second … never mind... it's just two black guys.

Blood Sucking Media Leave Michael Jackson's Children Alone (Article) - 7/10/2009 3:56:59 PM
Marcia, thanks for your review. No, I do not know for sure about Michael Jackson or O J Simpson. None of us know for sure. DO you know for sure? Does th media know for sure? We all have our own personal opinions, however, the media doesn't have the right to present their opinions and beliefs as if it was the gospel truth. Do you know for a fact that the media won't read my article? Actually the media are asking that the public send in their opinions to their website. My article is not about whether or not Michael Jaskson or O J Simpson did it. It is about my opinion of how the media is delibrating trying to hurt Michael Jackson's children. Michael is dead they can no longer hurt him. All of us know that Elvis Presley dated and married a child. I can't think of his name but, during the Elvis Presley era, there was this other entertainer that stuck his foot on the piano when he played it. He messed around with his 13 year old relative and married her when she was still a child. When these men are mentioned, by the media, nothing about their faults are mentioned. It is swept under the rug. O J Simpson and Michael are not the only people in the US that was accused of a crime and found not guilty. The media need to leave Michael Jackson's children alone. No matter what crime MJ or OJ was accused of, the media need to leave those children alone. What does anything have to do with the way they are coming after those children? Celebrities committed crimes from the beginning of time. The media need to be fair withtheir reports. They don't need to hurt innocent children. They should report facts and keep the garbage and their personal beliefs to themselves.

Blood Sucking Media Leave Michael Jackson's Children Alone (Article) - 7/10/2009 11:53:47 AM
I'm glad you got it off your chest and didn't explode but I doubt that any of the media will read your article. All celebrities are at the mercy of the paparazzi. In time it will all die down. For now the magazines, TV shows, newspapers and reporters are trying to earn a living and don't care about what devious means or bending of the truth they use. Was MJ gulity of child molestation? I don't know. Was OJ Simpson guilty of a double homocide? I don't know. Do you? For sure?

Mary, This poem says it all: We,if we live to get to a 'ripe' old age, should be very thankful. So many have died far too young. yes, our days are in His hands, but while we live,we should be grateful, and live each day to the full. Thank you very much for this needed reminder. Much success Barbara Henry

Happy Mother's Day (Poetry) - 5/11/2009 9:13:48 AM
The poems from our children's hearts are precious and priceless. Yesterday several of my children wrote me poems for Mother's Day. After I read each of them, one of my daughters said, "Now we are all poemers." I couldn't figure out what she was talking about as I kept running that word "poemers" over and over in my head. Finally, one of my other children explained to her that people who write poems are called poets, not poemers. hee, hee... I don't know... I kind of like that term... poemer...hee, hee... Cryssa
