Deep Down Inside (Poetry) - 2/15/2008 2:59:23 PM
I believe, His guiding hand WILL get us through the most difficult times, if we but trust, believe and have faith. His outcomes will always be what is in our best interest - whatever that may be.
God bless you.

Yellow Boots (Poetry) - 1/1/2008 8:02:35 AM
This is a very interesting and upbeat poem. You go kick that snow, and the yellow sparkles will fly from your yellow-booted feet!
Be careful, though---that hole in the toe will get bigger and bigger.
Happy New Year!

Excellent write...if only the rest of the world would open their eyes and those who doubt could open their minds.
Adam and Eve (Poetry) - 12/7/2007 7:03:56 PM
We are, indeed, FAMILY! This world would be infinitely better if each of us embraced this concept.
God bless you. Kathy

70, 000 miles (Poetry) - 10/22/2007 8:49:20 PM
God Bless! I have been where you are many years back, so I have a pretty good idea of what you are going through. However, usually military wives stick together and have a wonderful support system and I hope you too are involved in one. Keep your spirits high....

Karen
Dear Nanny (Poetry) - 10/12/2007 8:49:07 PM
You have written a piece that spills over with a nurturing love and understanding that has been instilled within your inner core. A most sincere and beautiful piece...

Dear Nanny (Poetry) - 10/12/2007 10:08:33 AM
A beautiful and heart-warming tribute to Nanny. I like the way you started this - as a letter. I do this from time to time, I write the letter then burn it and watch the smoke drift up to heaven.

The Pretzel Man (Poetry) - 10/8/2007 10:29:39 AM
There was a pretzel man in philly who delivered cans of chips and pretzles everyday in the 70's. Nice write, your words flow well.

The Pretzel Man (Poetry) - 9/29/2007 12:53:06 PM
So many afflictions in our world.
Good use of "white car" - she's his knight in shining armor. We all need to be that good knight.

God I Need You (Poetry) - 9/26/2007 1:40:24 PM
A prayer coming forth from within your heart and soul. With God's guding hands we all have someone to fall back on in those times of shadows and darkness...

Dear Mother Earth (Poetry) - 9/25/2007 8:15:24 PM
Nature is ticked, we can see that in the daily disasters decimating the world; earthquakes; tsunamis; severe storms; heat; cold...an excellent warning, Robbie, well done.

Mama, Is There A Place for Me? (Poetry) - 9/25/2007 8:13:52 PM
Unfortunately, in this imperfect world looking for perfection, those less than are hidden in plain sight, out of everyone's eyes, unless it is to be made fun of. Sad. An excellent write, Robbie. I wrote one similar to this, "Hidden in Plain Sight," about how the disabled are unseen.
(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.
Mama, Is There A Place for Me? (Poetry) - 9/24/2007 4:11:28 PM
In a perfect world, there should be a place for everyone - regardless of the color of skin. You write a sad story of our youth wondering ....

Mama, Is There A Place for Me? (Poetry) - 9/23/2007 8:12:05 PM
this is so beautiful-innocent and powerful
Mama, Is There A Place for Me? (Poetry) - 9/23/2007 7:02:58 PM
There should be a place for everyone. Oftentimes in this real, imperfect world we have to take our place where we want to be and say, "This is where I want to be. This is my place."
We should all be watchful so that we can stand beside you and say, "Yes, this is where they want to be. This is their place. And I will stand beside them and support them because it's right and because next time it might be me."
Your poem raises a voice with a legitimate question, Robbie.
