Tammy, although this was sad, I enjoyed it...very touching.

Have you ever seen that foreign film (dubbed) "Nobody Knows"?--It's a Japanese film about 4 (I believe) children left to fend for themselves by a selfish mother.--reminds me of your story. It haunts--knowing that there own mother would do this--it just haunts. --Charlie

This one is all too common, Tammy, and sad...the ending paragraph gives hope not to pass on the legacy she was given. Well done.

i find myself waiting (Poetry) - 11/27/2007 10:43:43 AM
Your Dad's spirit is here with you. You know that. Do not wish your earthly life away, just yet, you have much more to do before you join him and other's on the other side.
Nice to meet you. I am enjoying your work.
Peace, Love, and Light,

It's difficult losing someone close. I lost my son four years ago, and many of the things in your poem hit home...but we all have hope of meeting again one day, don't we?

your thoughts show an ever true love for one who surely was blessed to have you as a daugther...
a sad and yet nice tribute...

I read this poem thinking of "waiting for you". It seems that the path of mourning is very difficult for you at this moment. Have you written a
longer piece to analyze your feelings?
I have a poem entitled "Ignition". It is about suppressed memories around the loss of a child. It would be interesting to have your opinion.
I also think, on a more personal level, that those who loved us deserve, just like we do, to see us happy and strong.
Take care,
Axilea

Tammy,
This is excellent: the storm and its aftermath powerfully captured. Well done.

How difficult it can be to let go and accept. Some losses in life are so unacceptable that we keep on waiting... Somehow hoping that this is only a dream.
Keep on writing,
Axilea
