The Seduction of Sarah (Book) - 7/6/2008 6:35:51 PM
The story starts and brings a Northern Colonel and a Southern Bell together. and reunites and old friendship to bring the start of a family that grows to be one. It shows how often people can be one way and show a side that some dont want to see. It also shows the love that will endure more than is ever imagined it could.
Shadows (Book) - 7/2/2008 3:56:27 AM
I hope he follows his heart and does not become a workaholic. We must all give our all to our families too. Some men work and leave the wife behind and that is not what counts always in life.

The White Lady (Short Story) - 7/25/2008 9:01:36 AM
Never have I read something so sad, that is so beautiful and inspiratonal. I do not know whether to cry ... or pinch myself for being, thankfully, alive!

The White Lady (Short Story) - 7/24/2008 6:30:22 PM
Good story with a sad ending. It is o.k. to end sadly sometimes when the story is appropriate.
I love You (Article) - 2/12/2009 7:22:35 PM
This is very beautiful. Though you have it classified as an article, it is really freely expressed poetry. Words often escape us when we describe the transendental and the eternal. Susan
Hold Them (Article) - 11/27/2008 8:06:25 AM
I love your piece. I am alone today and there will be no dinner; no family; I couldn't even find a charity to volunteer at. I will fry a chicken for myself later. It's been like this since my mother died in 1993. I am from a large family - but I moved away from them 35 years ago. I thank you for your kind works. Alone, but not sad.

well done
Let The Music Fill You (Article) - 7/21/2008 8:32:20 AM
Music speaks, it surely does. Some of today's music shouldn't be sung, unfortunately. However, in general, you are correct, the words speak to our hearts in many ways. I've been enjoying the Do Wop series on Public Television taking us back to the 40-60's...Most of them I remember the words!
Good thoughts...
A Letter To A Colonel (Article) - 7/18/2008 7:36:26 AM
This was very real and loving...I have to ask whether it was your imagination or reality...either way, it put in words what many wives, I am sure, are saying across the world...
Thanks for sharing...

My Dream (Article) - 7/9/2008 7:30:37 PM
I do like this descriptive dream. It could mean that he was making you happy and the smile he gave you let you know he cared for you. Colorful dreams are nice too. Maybe the snow white horse was carrier of good news coming too. Native american customs I don't understand all of them but it seems as this was a very experimental dream and leaving you unsettled should not be cause it was a good colorful and exciting dream to be remembered. See what comes to you in the next days or so.
My Secret Place (Article) - 7/5/2008 7:13:22 PM
I think most of us have a secret or quiet mostly unused place to go for quiteness and a time of reflection. I don't think I could always be surrounded by people, I retreat to my room lots, just to think and adjust, then come out and go outside again. Yours sounds delightfully with the water and all. Glad you find peace somewhere in this world.
My Cabin in the Woods (Article) - 7/5/2008 7:06:19 AM
From one cabin dweller to another...
HI!
I thought I'd let you know that I also live in a cabin in the woods and I love it also...I live here alone, so most times I have that peace and serenity all the time!
Hope you had a good holiday...Enjoy!
My Passion (Article) - 6/26/2008 10:05:26 AM
I was just reading On Writing by Stephen King on this very subject He agrees with you about writing versus selling. While selling your writing work is great, he says and I agree, a writer writes to come alive and maybe to add a unique story that can only be told in his or her voice. Thank you for the post and keep on writing since it seems that's what you were born to do.

Where I write (Article) - 6/25/2008 12:28:07 PM
"just let yourself feel free to feel and sense and believe in what you are writing." Thank you for this message, it's just what i needed to read today!! It sounds like you have a right cozy place to let your mind wander into different worlds. Keep on writing!!
Smiles,
Dorothy
A Day In the Forest (Article) - 6/22/2008 6:38:10 PM
A walk in the forest is what I used to do when troubled, and now I cannot walk that far, so I just stay out of the forests. They are peaceful and nature is at it's best under the trees and the smell of the pine woods is refreshing and makes you feel alive.
