Judine: I love this!!! I am having the same problem now I am close to 40 and believe me I am not happy at the thought of bifocals but I probably need them because it is becoming more difficult to see things at an arms length. Peaceanoneluv C

don't i know about getting older, and how a pain glasses are; i have worn glasses since i was nine; and my vision is horrible without them; i am as blind as a bat without them!! as for my hearing, i have a hearing disability (mild; but still, i have problems hearing--right ear--); i have always had this, too. it stems from my being born premature. (at birth, i weighed 1 1/2 pounds.) i am also physically disabled (arthritis). ain't growing old the absolute ~PITS~?? good write, judine!! love, a new friend at authorsden, karen lynn. I hope that activator didn't turn your avatar's hair the color purple. You know how we gotta be careful with that stuff. I thought your poem was all about being real. I think we have to quit worrying about stereotyping our shells. We can't be perfect and we really can't be totally bad. I honestly believe that we are a freestyle. The soul it self is a freedom. Worries, doubts and lack in confidence only become our bars. So like you said the heck with it. Let get crunk on life and enjoy each day God wakes us up to use activator on our hair so we can get that shine on! This work was real nice one sista!
