John Wesley was a fiery man of God who despite great opposition, soldiered on to fulfill God's will for his life.

John Wesley and the test of his purpose founder of the Methodist every powerful

Sun Am May 5^th -Preached at St Annes– told I cannot come back

Sun Pm May 5^th – Preached at St Jude- cannot go back there also

May 12 the Preached at another church- can’t go back there again, told get out of here!

May 19 -Preached on the street -kicked off the street

…Preached in a field – Chased out of the field when a bull was let loose

….Preached on a high way- Kicked off the high way

….Preached in a field,10k came. Glory to God!

He did not know the specific plans God had for his life but as he followed the general purpose, ( preaching for the salvation of lost souls, he found the specific. Knowing the general purpose kept him going in the times of opposition.

You too can keep going if you hold on to the general purpose and follow it wholeheartedly.
