TW " Good afternoon folks this is Tommy West at KRST Los Angeles and it is "the Entrepenuer Hour." Today we're talking to a young lady who is interested in getting involved named Cheryl Larouche. Cheryl it's nice meeting you. Can you tell us all a little bit about yourself and what potential business are you interested in starting up?"
Me: "Good afternoon Tommy and please CALL ME FIFI."
TW "Allright Fifi I loved that name. So Fifi what kind of business are you thinking of starting up?"
Me: "Well Tommy it's just something, you know, kind of like stuck in my brain right now. I mean you know it's just like an idea. But I think it's like a good idea. I think it has a lot of potential. I'd like to start a chain of movie theaters that you know like make good quality, wholesome, family type movies and also serve healthy food. Not the garbage you see at the theaters today. Instead of fattening buttered popcorns we would sell fresh fruit. Instead of hot dogs and pizza and soda we would sell green tea and whole wheat pretzels."
TW(chuckling): "Whole wheat pretzels and green tea. You know I would probably like something like that instead of sodas, pizzas, and hot dogs, AT LEAST I KNOW MY BLOOD, MY HEART, AND MY COLON WOULD. The problem is do you think young kids, who form the great majority of the movie audience, would care to eat say an apple and drink green tea as opposed to say eating a hot dog or popcorn and drinking a large soda?"
Me: "It would be like a specialty type movie theater Tommy. That means I would be targeting not as many young kids, an older audience over 30. So like you just said people need to think about their heart and their colon and their stomachs as they get older so what they eat becomes really important. But I also feel a few health concious parents would not mind seeing their kid eat fruit as opposed to candy or popcorn while watching a movie."
TW: "Now you also mentioned the quality of the movies. So
