Today her daughter Cherish turned seven, and it marked the ten year anniversary of the accident that changed her life forever. Sally was not going to let it stop her though and she did not, she was a singer, the wheelchair did not have to preclude her gift, but more than that she was a Mother. Cherish was her life, she had a little family, a little family she was not sure she would ever be able to have.
Good things God's mind is much bigger than Man's and with him the impossible becomes possible. After the accident she did not think she would fall in love, get married and have children, the fact was no matter how hard she tried to hide it, for awhile she had fallen into a deep depression.
Thankfully those days had passed and Sally saw just how blessed her lfie was. She may not be able to walk but she was going to show the world that she could live a happy and fullfilling life, and she could still sing.
Many said her voice sounded like that of an angel, and she used her voice for his glory, recording Christian CD's that quickly sold out. Nicole Nordeman Watch out, Sally Kendall was making a name for herself.
Truth be told Sally looked up to Nicole Nordeman, Point of Grace, Amy Grant, Mercy Me, Steven Curtis Chapman, Christians who continued to sing the Lord's praises despite the bad things they had faced in life.
Sally prayed one day others would be able to look at he, and say she was a strong Christian who served the Lord even in the darkest of moments, and that she was a good Mother, being a good Mother was the most important thing to her. Cherish was her life, and on this the tenth year anniversary of the accident that left her a parapalegic and her daughter Cherish's birthday she found out she was pregnant again.
God was certainly good and worthy of praise!!!
