Maaju Olef Jaegger continues his story. He is 21 years old and has MS.

Terve!  Miita kuuluu? Kiitos hyvaa!

Maaju here.  I hope and pray this finds you well.  I am hanging in there.  Have my good days and my bad.  Today is a bad day.  Can't hardly move without pain and so I am staying in bed today.  No going out; I don't think I could make it without falling.

I am also having trouble with my eyes, so this shan't be long.  I hope you forgive me and don't think me as being rude because I'm not.  It's just my multiple sclerosis is active; it's what is known as a "flare".  It's a big pain in my rear!

I am still waiting to get on disability.  I have had to repeal; the disability board said I was not disabled enough; I had words for them and have since asked them to rethink their decision.  I was not happy at the news and neither were Mother, Father, or Kjersten (my younger sister; she's 18).

I thank God I have my family.  If I didn't, I'd probably be living out on the streets like a bum and I'm sorry, but I'm much better than that!

The weather is nice, but the auroras have been having a field day.  More auroras expected tonight, thanks to several CMEs coming towards earth.  I love the aurorae, but I also dislike them because they mess up with the radio and Internet signals.  This is one reason why I haven't been able to get online because my computer just hasn't been working as well as it was before all the auroral activity started.

Kjersten is working part time at a daycare center; she still wants to work with little children.  She loves it.  I am happy for her, but I also feel a twinge of jealousy because up until my MS got bad, I had been working at a bank.  Now I don't have any money coming in and I feel like a sponge to my family.  I hate having to depend on others!

Well, I have to go.  Doctor's appointment.  Seems that's about all I ever do: go from one doctor to the next; I'm getting sick of it already!  I will write in here again soon; sorry it's been so long!  Take care; until later, this is Maaju Jaeger saying Nakemiin!

~Maaju.
