A teen girl is devastated when she catches her boyfriend cheating on her.

Guess I should have seen the signs coming.

Maybe then I wouldn't have been so shocked.

My boyfriend dumped me for a girl that was far prettier than me.  As you can imagine, I am beyond devastated.

I thought that stupid skunk loved me!!

I thought that once our "romance" blossomed into something serious, we would eventually fall in love, get engaged, and ultimately, married to one another!

I now am left with nobody and I am left reeling.  What am I gonna do??

It all started when I caught Miguel lip-locked with that ... that ... HUSSY!! ... right there, in broad daylight, next to the lockers.  I was with my best friend; she was the one who called it to my attention.

I couldn't believe my eyes.  Miguel was playing "kissy-face" with Tana Griggs, the school's head cheerleader.  Tana had a figure to die for, with curves in all the right places.  She had thick, gorgeous wheat-blonde hair that tumbled past her waist.  Her eyes were sea-foam green in color.

Tana Griggs was flat.  Out.  STUNNING!!

The horns of jealousy popped out of my head when I realized what I had lost.  Miguel Salvador Ortiz was Latin-idol handsome: all the girls loved him.  Miguel had abs on top of abs; he took great pride in his overall physical health.  His hair was thick and black as midnight, his hazel eyes held such magic whenever I looked into them, and his nose was prefectly straight.

Miguel's smile could light up the darkest of nights: his teeth were white, straight, and perfect in every way.

Meanwhile, I was a mousy-haired, bespectacled, chubby little butterball who didn't deserve anybody as good-looking as Miguel Salvador Ortiz.

There is one thing I just don't understand: what went wrong in terms of our relationship?  I thoguht I could trust Miguel!  He told me he loved me and wanted to spend the rest of his life with me!!

Am I so hideously ugly that Miguel decided to cheat on me without giving me any outward signs or telling me that he was no longer interested or no longer in love with me??

All of a sudden I don't want to do anything!  I am beyond frustrated and heartbroken!!

~To be continued.~

Tough to learn to trust again, too. Well done, Karen.

Sad, when trust is betrayed ... well written, Karen. I felt this young lady's pain.

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.
