Villisca Axe Murder House: Second Visit

After reviewing our pictures we discoved what looks like an Indian in the upstairs window. You can clearly see the face with large black eyes a high forehead and long black hair. In the next window you can see the collar of Paul Moore the youngest and also the outline of his face. I never believed in real haunted houses but something is happening that can't be explained. The house was built on ground where insane Indians were buried. There wasn't alot of paranormal activity until it was restored back to the way it was in 1912. ~Peace~

My girlfriend and I decided at the last minute to spend a few hours in Villisca. We went to the museum and got the keys to the house. We were told to give them to the overnight guest when we were done. I was a lot more relaxed, and from the video even a little tipsy. It took and hour and thirty minutes to get there so we stopped and had two beers. We entered the house just the two of us and it felt smaller and very hot. The inside looked like a dollhouse dated back to 1912.

My friend reset her EMF recorder and it jumped to 1,300 as soon as we walked in the door. She started asking to hear a noise so this little metal ironing board started rocking. It was right behind me on the stove. We have the noise in the video and tried to make it rock and it wouldn’t. My girlfriend saw a bird nest on the piano so she started telling me a story about her grandmother and how she collected bird nest.

Right after the story she asked if anyone could play the piano. The piano didn’t start playing by itself and we just moved on to another room. After looking at the video you can clearly see an orb darting around the piano then off towards the blue room. I know it wasn’t a dust particle by the way it moved around the piano seat.

We had no luck in the blue room so we ventured upstairs to the parent’s room. We were both out of breath once we got to the top. Again, everything felt so small the second time. There was a wasp that flew around us everywhere we went creeping us out more. Nothing happened this time with the children’s closet. We even noticed that the plastic had been removed from the hole in the roof. Still confused why it was there and why the roof had not been fixed.

When we reviewed our video of the children’s room we seem to be moving. It was like the house was moving and we were always trying to catch our balance. In one shot the camera is pointed at me and on the wall above the crib looks like a man with a mustache. It is slightly curled up on both ends.

The house was so hot we had to get out and get some air. We drove to the cemetery where the family and Stillinger girls were buried and paid our respects. This visit we were exhausted for days and we both got sick. I didn’t get a bloody nose or a hand print around my neck. The first visit I felt good in the children’s room but this visit was different.

The entire second floor gave me the creeps. The only place I felt peace was near the piano. A paranormal team is meeting us in September for an all night investigation. I don’t know if I will be staying all night yet. I can handle the house when it is light but when there is no electricity it can get a little scary. Most investigations don’t end up staying all night. There is always something that happens to frighten them away...

You had a lot of haunting moments in that place. Most people who do not beleive would say you were stoned or you imagined the whole thing. I know better as my last residence in NYC was haunted. Very interesting story, Chessly.
GOD BLESS YOU and YOURS
Tony
