tic tock
tic tock
crowing roosters
alert the flock...

Batwings Fly With Secrets

Her eyes fell to the darkness
Like cyclonic windfalls
…Torrential they were.

Where even her soul cried out loud
For some salvation under fire bridges
Where she burned her betrayer’s passions
Cremating those memories of sorrow…

Disbelief claims ownerships
And left her impoverished with truth
But void of its destructive pathways
Footing under self rising clouds
Where batwings fly with secrets
…And the rabid thoughts die out loud!!

"...and the rabid thoughts die out loud!"' the ending line here says it all, for we know how the thoughts become rabid and souls turn black that were once if not white...ivory.
