In a bid to impress a woman, a scientist unwittingly pushes the world to the brink of destruction when he sets the Armageddon clock at one-minute to midnight. A short story.

Soon, Dr. Cuinn’s face would be all over CNN, FoxNews, and other networks he couldn’t stomach. His lip trembled and his eyelids fluttered. Why wasn’t he ever featured on BBC, PBS or Reuters? Hell, he would’ve even taken the Nightly News with Brian Williams. Instead, he instantly became judged by those who would never heed his words. Those who would never remember his name.
