Dear Friend,
This is a letter about living and learning. We are always sharing information and that's a part of life. Here is something I thought that I would share with you today.
Please don't be afraid to preach or teach in life as well as absorb and learn. For we are either providing information to others or we are absorbing information or both. So teaching, preaching, yearning and learning are just a facts of life. In order to become intelligent and wise, what else can we do?
Albert Einstein once said, "The most important thing is to never stop questioning." The inquisitive mind is active and always learning. I guess that's how Albert E became so smart. He was NOT just an observer; he was an active learner who constantly questioned everything! In the end he concluded that there has to be a creator of this universe. Yes, it's hard to understand why such a masterful mind like his would reach such a conclusion.
Towards the end of his life Darwin said his theory was FLAWED but millions of copies of his works were already published so in the end, no one really wanted to hear him. Some of the world’s most staunch agnostics set out to prove that the Bible was just another History book riddled with fairy tales. Then after years of painful research most concluded that the Bible offers the best explanation as to why man exist.
Even with all of this concrete proof, sheer logical information cannot give me a heart and soul to love Jesus with all of my being. After falling in the gutter just like a crinkled twenty dollar bill falls in the sewer someone decided to picked me up. Why? It's because like the twenty dollar bill although I was full of dirt and crud I still had value. So after I am picked up, I am recycled into humanity but this time I choose to keep clean and perhaps become reprocessed as a crisp and new twenty dollar bill. The choice is mine. If I could keep clean on my own I probably would but I need a higher power to keep my life in check. It's like the oldies radio station disc jockey John Tesh recently said, "I have already tried everything else in life and I have stumbled and fallen down. In the end I found that Christianity is the only thing that works for me." That’s his words not mine and if that's preaching my friend, well so be it. Amen!
May you discover agape (unconditional love), eternal happiness and a faith that will help you to conquer the many mountains we face in this life.
Blessings,
John Michael Domino
