Two keys to my success:faith and belief. If the facts counted, then I would have been down with the count, as a sexually abused child. I became a decision maker earlier in life. I believed I was more than what my environment and circumstances dictated.
The only thing I had control over was my mind, what I thought,so I chose what I would think about.
I developed the attitude of a soldier; one who gets hurt but recovers quickly, who doesn't have time to lick their wounds; you do what you have to do.
My book,"There In The Midst The Mysterious Exposed", is a detail account of my faith and belief journey that ultimately healed my past and changed my life forever.
It's been twelve years since that great awakening, and over 30 since the 10 year old child heard that she was going to write a book about her life some day.
Nothing about my path indicated that I was chosen to be one of those people (a writer and author).
There comes a point in time when you have no control over your goal setting, or what you think your purpose is in life because there is an invisible force at work that has the final say.
I fought it for a long time but then one day I yielded and my life has never been the same.
It has been an incredible journey from being a shy, unassuming child, struggling with reading comprehension and fear, to published author, speaker and publishing coach.
To date, I have been entrusted with over 170 dreamers who needed a little help, who will not die with their books on the inside of them, or on a shelf to be tossed away by the children, or relatives.
