One of my books was nominated, shortly after being published, to attend the Book Expo America (BEA) in L.A. 2008, for a book signing beside tons of celebrities and famous authors. I was able to attend a historical event, the "Meet the best sellers" with Dean Koontz and Michael connelly who spoke candidly about their life and their work while hte audience ate lunch. (I was able to have a chat with Dean, which was the highlight of my time there since he is a favorite of mine). I have pictures of me with Ernest Borgnine on my site, http://www.eamourn.com
It would take too long to list all the celebrities and famous authors there.
It was a great honor to be nominated and to meet all the industry professionals (publishers, authors, wholesalers, etc.). |
