Shortly before my first ACM surgery (brain surgery), my story "Toothless Grin" aka "Something to Make Me Happy" was published, and published, and published, etc. All of the Multnomah books use "Toothless Grin" as the title while "Chicken Soup" prefers "Something to Make Me Happy." Either name is fine by me! (I have discovered that this story is all over the internet -- some with, and most without, my permission. Recently, it appeared in both Chinese and Japanese.) I have appeared on several local television stations both here in Nashville and in Memphis. My biggest accomplishment, to date: tomorrow (May 14, 2003) I will be featured in my hometown newspaper -- "The Galva News" of Galva, Illinois. I have more work, and more news, to put on AD, but my disability causes me to be something akin to a snail. Or worse. So we'll stick with "snail!" I have a verbal "nod," so to speak, regarding a book I hope to actually finish (the premise involves maintaining a positive outlook on life no matter what curveballs -- and baseballs to the gut -- that life lobs at you). Anyone know where I can get good feedback? (Either here on AD or another internet group?) Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.
