Yesterday March 29th was an awesome day. I had my very first book signing for my poetry collection, "Lemonade Street" at Barnes and Noble, Duluth GA. The managers were so happy at the turnout and sales that they invited me back. "We've never had an author come out and sell all thier books at a signing" he said. They've proposed to carry my book in their store. I had people from different states come for the signing, what more could you ask for as a writer than have people tell you they couldn't miss your signing for the world and rant praises about your work? I am very happy, excited and humbled by this experience and I look forward to many more to come.
P/S What a pleasant surprise, I met my wonderfull friend Ann Marquette. Thank you so mcuh Ann for your support, it meant much more than you could ever imagine. And guys, she is as tender as her poetry, a gentle soul. Love you Ann! You can read her beautiful poetry by entering her name in the Den's search box.
yours in write,
