I was honored to be asked to present at Longwood University's Summer Literacy Conference on July 17, 2009. My presentation title was "Persistence and Imagination are the Keys to Success..The Odyssey from Unkown to Published and the Reward Beyond." After my presentation, I was represented by Bedford Falls Book Fairs and included in the author signing sessions. As a result of this opportunity, I will be presenting at the VEMA conference in Roanoke VA on November 19th and 20th. I will again be included in the author signings. Plus I will also be participating with Grandin Court Elementary School at their Book Fair at the Tanglewood Barnes and Noble.
Several teachers from around VA invited me to speak to their students in the fall. It has all been a very positive experience.
