Just finished reading "Three and Out". I greatly admire your ability to make a character jump off the page with just a few words -- the person immediately has features AND a personality. Great book by John Payne! Very in-depth character study, interesting plots, and Payne displays a tremendous knowledge of the cur-rent state of healthcare in the U.S. You will get a tour of all the finer points of the beautiful city of San Antonio, Texas, while trying to guess who the murderer is. We see a fuller development of the main character, Rod Richards in this book, and I look forward to book 3 in the trilogy to see what happens to Rod in his pursuit to find "eternal happiness"!!! This book will not disappoint!!!

I just finished this novel by Payne. A must read if you live in San Antonio or work in a hospital setting. Interesting plot with a lot of "who dunnit's" to sort thru. Fast moving with a lot of interesting characters. I enjoyed the book; and look forward to his next novel.
