Success Story |

|
I have worked diligently for many years to reach my current level of success. I had a phenominally successful military career, rising to the level of a Captain.
I had positions in Radiology, Military Intelligence, Management Engineering, and Substance Abuse Counseling. Upon retiring from the Air Force in 1979, I embarked upon a new career in education and counseling. I started with the State of Florida, Department of Education, Bureau of Exceptional Education. I established the Gateway Florida Department of Learning Resources Office (FDLRS) in Hamilton Middle School in Jasper, Florida on January 3rd, 1980. I moved on to become the Director of Psychological Services at Beth Johnson Community Mental Health Center in Orlando. I remained there through the consolidation of the mental health centers in Orange County in 1982. I started a private practice in June 1982 known as Wekiva Center For Personal Development, as I interviewed for the Staff Psychologist position at the University of Central Florida. I was hired in October of 1982 and remained there untill September of 1988. At this juncture of my life, I went totally private and opened an office in Altamonte Springs that very same month with the same name I used as when I was working privately part time in 1982. I was in private pracrice up to December 2000, when I fully retired. I dabble with counseling special and extreme cases, difficult sexual dysfunctioning, and with child diagnosed as ADD/ADHD, and Conduct Disorders. I also acquired a part time position as an Visiting Professor of Psychology at Seminole State College, and DeVry
University, as well as with Keller Graduate School.
So, even in retirement, I remain busy as I was when I was working full time. I thank the Graciously Good Lord that he has permitted me to do so. |
