Young Americans, French hippies, Canadian drug smugglers, home bound Muslim woman, a young gay man  and  a prostitute these lives become intertwined in Casa Blanca Morroco.  Fast friends and close bonds are made in a time and place when it was more possible, pre 9/11.  These people are eager and open to know about the lives of the people around them, people from different cultures.  They gather in the cafes and hotels of Casa Blanca, they get high on hashish, they explore the city, and most importantly they get to know one another.  Inevitably as these young people move into adulthood they meet their respective fates, shockingly predetermined by virtue of where they are born.
