Historical fiction mystery novel about a Minnesota WW1 veteran and his family for years after the war. Revisionist history and great American character, survival and courage shown by a host of characters.
Conrad Larson is the proud father of five sons. He was a farmer and a coach for basketball, baseball and football, a post secondary teacher, a lay preacher, truck driver, and jack of a lot of trades but master of none. While working for several major international companies he traveled to Europe and the Middle East for stints of work. The farming endeavers included a sheep operation, a beef cow operation, beef feedlot, managing a large dairy farm for a bank and developing a hydroponic growing facility for tomatoes in the northern climates. Coaching tournaments, playing sports and participation in many tournaments have been a passion. Conrad even competed in major league facilities, as did a couple of his sons. Writing this book was a real stretch for Conrad and has been a real emotional struggle and a great accomplishment.
He continues to be entrepreneurial in his endeavers which more closely identifies his life. He likes work and challenges of all kinds. Conrad enjoys the new lives of his grandchildren while watching his sons grow
as fathers.

"This WW 1 mystery novel felt like a rollercoaster but in a good way. I never knew what to expect next. A truly winding plot with plenty of twists and turns. A riveting, fast read. A couple of strings felt like they were left dangling but they were minor leaving me to wonder if there will be a sequel. I sure hope so. This book felt authentic to history and drew me back in time."
