Excerpt
Instintively, McGuigan looked sideways. A pretty Chinese girl, in a tight-fitting black dress that really showed off her nice, curvy figure was standing beside him and staring at him. Their eyes met and the girl smiled at him. There was something about the girl that made McGuigan's blood stir. And it wasn't often that a girl had that effect on him.
"Hey, baby," said McGuigan, suddenly smiling at the girl. "How you doing?"
"I do fine," said the girl in a Chinese accent.
"What's your name?" said McGuigan, his green eyes glittering as he smiled at her.
"Leila," said the girl.
"I"m Arnold McGuigan," he said. "But you can call me Arnie, tonight."
The girl smiled at him.
She thought he was very handsome and she liked his American accent.
"Would you like a drink?" said McGuigan.
"I get drink," said the girl, showing him the glass she was holding in her right hand.
The present track was the classic George Benson, Feel Like Making Love, and it was one of McGuigan's favorites.
"Are you local?" said McGuigan.
"What?" said the girl, frowning at him.
"Where do you live?" said McGuigan, realising that her English wasn't very good.
"Mong Kok," said the girl.
"You got a fast car, baby?" said McGuigan as he continued to smile at her.
The girl smiled at him.
"I get fast car."
"Come on, baby, let's get out of here," said McGuigan, leaving the rest of his drink on the bar and moving through the crowd towards the exit.
The girl finished her drink and followed him.

The Mind of a Genius by David Snowdon
(The Formula That Could Change The World)
A handsome charmer, Special Agent, Jason Clay, from the MI4 is hired to find a secret formula invented by the famous British scientist, Malcolm Prince. The only weak element in Clay's strategy to accomplish his mission is Laura Prince, the beautiful wife of the scientist.
The CIA, the Denmark Intelligence, the Australian Intelligence and many other determined individuals are also after that formula, and can't wait to get their hands on it. The competition is fierce.
The story develops through travels around the world; with the action starting in London, then moving onto Copenhagen, Hong Kong and Australia.
Full of twists, this book takes the reader on a fascinating journey through several countries before coming to a spectacular conclusion.

This Espionage Will Take You Around the World
By P. Lovitt (Southern California) - See all my reviews
After the death of a British scientist, covert agencies around the world have taken an interest in his final work. It is believed that this scientist created a formula that will have a major impact upon the entire world. This makes the stakes quite high, especially when you see how greedy these characters are.
Freelance MI4 agent Jason Clay gets called in to help his agency find the formula. His job is to use handsome face and fit body to seduce the widow of the deceased scientist. In spite of her being older than him, Jason has no problems with being attracted to her. Actually, with his James Bond-like demeanor, he has no problems with being attracted to any woman.
Other agencies, such as the CIA are also interested and they send in their top agents to find the project. Some of these agents have some personality issues, and they don't all get along with each other. This makes for a fun read. Then of course there is a nasty little dwarf, in the picture, who is one of the bad guys. There is also a young Asian who has yet to find a lock that he can't pick. All in all I loved reading this book!
If you are a fan of Ian Fleming, Carl Hiassen, or Elmore Leonard you will find yourself hooked on this author and be able to dive right in to this tale. In spite of the James Bondish fun espionage style of the story, the author's strength is more in his development of entertaining characters, not in writing about technological gadgets. I think that being able to develop great characters takes more talent. Enjoy!

| Great Title. I hoped it would be a documentary about things that are distinctive to genius and what makes them tick. |
