Murder on the rocks confronted Kelli when she arrived in Rockfort. Peace and a quiet life were what she expected after inheriting a house in a Kansas town. Kelli was forced unwittingly into betrayal, secret evidence, and loss. Pursued relentlessly by what appeared to be pranks until they turned deadly.
Kelli removed her clothes soaked with his blood and stood under the shower to remove the dead source of life. She held him, moments ago when she knelt in the grass and hugged his body to her face as if to give of herself and revive him. The rich red had penetrated her outer garments and seeped under onto her skin. Now she watched as the pink tinged water whirled down the drain. The last essence of him, gone forever.

"Definitely not," Ric said with such stern force that Kelli leaned back away from him as if his words had punched her. "You will not be there or anywhere near the cemetery." He pointed at Claudia and glared hard. "The responsibility is yours to make sure she doesn't go anywhere near the cemetery. You hear me?"
Claudia leaned forward and glared back in defiance. "I hear you loud and clear. The whole town heard you, Boy Scout. I don't need you to tell me what to do." She lowered her voice and sat back,"I know how much the sight of Pop's coffin dug up would hurt her. I'll do what Ican to keep her away. She doesn't take orders very well and rarely ever listens to me."
