When the pirate ship "Hook" torpedoes a freighter almost within sight of the Mars Station, John, with Katy Walls as backup, goes to the station to beef up the shields.

With John working to get the shield beefed up before the pirates attack the station, and the pirates trying to get their ships equiped with the new opto cannons before the shields are fixed, it comes down to who's going to win, John or the pirates.

"You mean Bart's got men on the station?"
