As I moved rather quickly, my right foot hit something semisolid and I nearly fell. When I looked down, I saw two men curled up on the floor.
They had been bound, gagged and, since each man sported a dark Burgundy circle the size of a nickel on his forehead, I concluded they had been murdered; executed seemed a more appropriate word. I couldn't help but wonder if these were the two DEA agents recently kidnapped in Venezuela.
