Dream BIGGER offers a practical and inspirational approach to identifying your dreams, creating an action plan and making your dreams a reality. I believe that there is always a bigger dream for us than we could possibly imagine for ourselves. When our plan for our life doesn’t work out as we’d hoped, it’s time to explore the “bigger dream” and see where it takes us.
Dream BIGGER answers the desire for "something else" that we all experience at some point in our lives. We may be looking for more meaning or purpose, or something tangible like a better job, a new relationship or a bigger house. Whatever the dream, the process of achieving it remains the same and involves more than just wishing. It requires action. Most people get stuck at the dreaming stage. Some people don't know what they want and continue to drift through life, wishing but never having. Others may know exactly what they want but not know where to start. Still others take steps toward their dream only to encounter obstacles, road blocks or even a dead end. They become discouraged and give up, telling themselves that at least they tried.
Dream BIGGER offers readers the chance to change all this and make their dreams actually happen. There are simple practical exercises in each section designed to help people take their dream forward step by step. The book also includes examples from the author's personal and professional life to demonstrate how others have dealt with common challenges. In addition, there are interviews with inspiring people whose dreams took on a life of their own and expanded to have a community or global impact.
Dream BIGGER encourages readers to change the way they view their lives, start dreaming again, and follow their action plan to a life of joy and ease.
Excerpt
Did you daydream as a child? Do you remember the magic of imagining you could fly like an eagle, or discover new lands like Christopher Columbus? Perhaps you pictured yourself standing on stage accepting the Nobel Peace Prize, hearing the thunder of applause or savoring the majestic silence from the peak of Mount Everest.
If you stop for a moment and remember what that felt like, chances are you'd describe a sensation of freedom, joy and ease.
This is what it feels like to live our dreams. And, yes, we can experience that today, even if we're all "grown up".

Julie's book helped me to remember who I am and what I want out of life...This book is easy to read, short, and inspirational. There are a few chapters that are just filled with inspirational 'dream' stories about others. Most of the chapters though contain thought provoking information that leads into the exercises. None of the exercises are difficult and Julie explains why each is important as you go along.
I wouldn't suggest this book for just a bit of light reading. Anyone seeking some direction in life or wanting to reconnect with who they really are will find valuable insight inside.

Julie,
Your book looks interesting, especially having "steps" included in helping to attain one's dreams. I am sure the additons of interviews with others who have found success in their endeavors will also be a help to many. May you have success with your book.
