45 poets from Northeast Florida came together in December 2002 to combine their talents to raise money for literacy.
The reasons for poetry are as diverse as the people who write it. This, the first volume of "Open Mic Jacksonville", brings you our community's best talent to help advance literacy in Northeast Florida.
From Arlington to Green Cove Springs, from Orange Park to the Beaches, and all points inbetween, we offer you our best in poetry, prose, free verse and haiku.
