Want to add a toilet to your basement but the sewer line is above the toilet connection, or grade level.

What is grade? Well, the basement floor may be below the main sewer line. You have seen basement toilets sitting on 8" or 12" platforms. You have to step-up and maybe crack your head doing so. Why? because the existing sewer line is a foot or more above the grade or basement floor. And we all know..."water"...never can run up hill.
Don't spend $500 on a high maintenance pump-up toilet, or a $2,500 plumbing contract. Install a sewage pump below grade. Do-it-yourself. It's easy with this simple, well illustrated booklet. Booklet or "plan" is easy to read and illustrated. If too much for you, can ask that brother-in-law of yours who says he can do anything. With booklet in hand, and his labor, you can have that extra toilet in the basement. In fact, it includes instructions on how to add a lavatory sink while at it, since that is the easy part.
