My Novels and Self-Help books.
After the passing of her beloved partner the author started feeling the warm vibrations around her heart that she was used to when he thought of her. She looked further into this thinking he was trying to contact from the other side. The result was an epiphany and a tremendous increase in spiritual awareness.
Rosemary I. Patterson, Ph.D. and Dr. Edward Bird enjoyed a joyous late life relationship after meeting at an author's association event. Both had been widowed and had become novel writers in endeavours to explore life's meaning and purpose. Following many adventures exploring Alaska, Hawaii and Kauai, Ted's health started to fail and he passed following several heart opeartions. To Rosemary's complete surprise she continued to pick Ted Up psychically as she had when he had been thinking of her when he was alive.
This book is a personal journey through the love relationship, his health decline and contact after his passing. It is an exploration of the meaning of life and a testimony to the continuation of personality following death.
A week after the funeral Rosemary could not believe the sensations she was experiencing. She was trying to sleep a little later than normal when she realized that she was experiencing contact with Edward the way she had always psychically picked him up. He was a Pisces and she had always known when he was thinking of her because she could feel her feet burning slightly. With Astrology as a hobby Rosemary realized that Pisces ruled the feet. She could feel vibrations in both her feet and particularly around her heart.
He's still around, Rosemary excitedly acknowledged in her mind. We do survive death like I always told Edward we do. And the personality remains intact, I guess, if Edward is able to contact me. I always believed that we are spirits having a human experience and inhabit bodies until death but I wasn't sure that the personality we had been would survive intact. He's trying to establish contact with me, I know it.
Rosemary felt her intense grieving process interrupted. "He's still here," she told her daughter. "I am picking him up the way I used to do."
"Don't tell anyone that," Rosemary was astonished to receive that advice. "People will think you have lost your mind. Just keep the information to yourself."
Two weeks later Rosemary realized she was going to have to do something about facilitating the contact she had with Edward. She was psychically picking him up in the Island house and even in his old apartment as she tried to take care of the collection of belongings that he had accumulated in his lifetime. Before his first operation Edward had surprised her by making a will naming her as the Executor and primary beneficiary and it was her responsibility to settle the estate.
He's trying to get through to me, she found herself explaining to her mind. I'll have to do something to develop my clairaudient abilities.
You're losing it again, her mind complained. Why can't you just be like everyone else and lose yourself to having warm vacations somewhere away from the drizzle of this part of the world in the winter?
I'll have to see a psychic, Rosemary decided. I didn't follow up my daughter's advice to stay silent and several people that I've talked to that have lost husbands they were really close to have said they feel them around them too. Maybe the Spiritualist Church can help. I'll look them up and attend some of their Church services. I know their ministers are also mediums. Maybe they have someone who can contact Edward and clarify what he is trying to tell me.
