With smooth plotting and a rapid pace, GOBLIN MOON captures the reader's attention from the first page. Packed with emotion and moments of danger and humor, GOBLIN MOON delivers a heartwarming love story, as well as a lesson in learning not to judge an entire group of people by the actions of a few. Even though GOBLIN MOON is the fourth book in the series, it stands well on its own; however, I know I plan to get the first three and add them to my reading list. Goblin Moon is a fluid, emotional addition to the Tales of the Order series. Candace Sams continues to inspire with the richness of the world within worlds she has created. Her writing is eloquent, imaginative, and a delight for this reader to experience. Her words easily bring to life the landscape and community within the Order, allowing the readers to visualize the variety and complexity of life these magical beings live. The plot is so tightly written that all the details seamlessly flow together to weave the beauty that is Tearach and Kathy's story. The obstacles these two must overcome are touching while at the same time their banter and frank honesty will endear them to readers. The depth of this story allows it to be read alone, but trust me when I say this is one series you don't want to miss out on. The fourth Tale, GOBLIN MOON, is a terrific fantasy starring two star-crossed individuals who clash on everything as each perceives, ponders, and deduces from the same information different results and outcomes than the other yet fall in love. The comparative cultural anthropological disparities between humans and goblins seem so genuine that readers will believe in the existence of magical creatures at least when entering the charming Sams' universe. I have to say that Goblin Moon was a huge surprise for me. I love fantasy and paranormal romances but I put off reading Goblin Moon because I wasn't sure I was going to like it. I was happily surprised when I found that I could not put it down. Tearach is a hero who you feel for even when you want to shake him. Kathy is just the sort of heroine that I love to read. Spunky and able to take care of herself. Together Tearach and Kathy simmer with emotion and heat. Candace Sams skillfully drew me into the world of the Druids, Goblins, and Fairies. Once I realized that Goblin Moon was the fourth book in the Tales of the Order series, I couldn't download the other books quickly enough.
