And after you’re done writing it, publishing the book will be easier than ever. Go ahead. Write the book and then publish it so we readers can enjoy your creative labor.

Folks, it doesn’t take much to create your own best-selling eBook. If you can read, you can write. If you have an idea to share, you’re good to go. It is that simple. Everyone is writing a book nowadays, even my dog, Joujou.

Wait, before you say you can’t write a book, let me share a little secret. Every single human has a book inside that’s waiting to come out. So you’d better allow that book inside you to come out. Don’t let it rot. Even if you cannot bring out the book in English, you can tell the story in your ethnic tongue.

You can publish an eBook in any language. So folks, make your family proud! Publish your book. Do it for grandma! She’d be happy to see her old recipes in an eBook.

Today, knowledge is big business. However, knowledge is also personal power. We are born with a natural curiosity and sense of play, so that we can accumulate knowledge and learn how to do things. This is how we continue to grow as humans. Most of all, this knowledge needs to be passed along. Each day in our modern world, more of us are learning to read. We want to know about both the smaller and larger worlds around us.

A surprising idea is that even with more curiosity, awareness and lively intelligence than ever before, only ten percent of our brain may be in use. However, with the amount of reading we’re doing, I think we may be using a bit more by now. The Internet deserves much of the credit. These days, we spend more time browsing the Internet than doing any other activity.

Reading expands the mind. The amount and variety of reading gadgets on the market are ever increasing. There is the Kindle, the I-Pad, the Nook, various tablets, and many more gadgets on the horizon. Then there is this little eBook to help with your participation in the new quest for knowledge and information.

Today, we don’t need to wait to write and publish our own books. In fact, we don’t need more than three days, beginning right now. Since we already know how to read, all we need is an interesting subject and a computer.

If you can find a traditional publisher that would be willing to give you one hundred thousand dollars up front for your manuscript, I would say jump, and I mean really high. If you can make that happen, you have already arrived and don’t need this book. But even if you are the guy who got the one hundred thousand dollar advance, you had to jump through several hoops to get it. First, you had to shop for an agent; then your agent had to shop your manuscript to the right publisher. It would have taken months or possibly years to get that money. I assume that process is not for you, Reader.

Anyway, the hundred thousand is likely, a pipe dream. I have a friend who has been waiting for three years to realize a deal with a traditional publishing company, even having published with the same publisher before. Yes, it’s wonderful if you can cut a deal with one of the top publishers in the world. I’ll even come over and cook you your favorite dish in celebration. And fortunately, your publisher will handle all of your publishing affairs, including digitizing your books. But, if you want to publish your book today, beginning right now, keep reading, because by the time you’re at the end of this book, you will be well on your way to becoming a published author.
