Tigers are legendary fighters, graced with uncanny skill and partnered with extraordinarily intelligent companion animals. Luke Aron is the leader of the Tigers but his people are scattered throughout Salubria as each warrior seeks a sorceress of good heart to hold his magical bond before the curse kills him.

Violet Hylan only wants to escape her captor and protect her family.  Luke Aron, a fellow prisoner, offers her a chance at freedom.  But he asks much, much more of her also.  Her choice is to trust the odd, handsome warrior or let her family ride into an ambush.
