Excerpt
Excerpt from book:
The tribe was situated at the foot of the mountains. It was a huge lot with a lot of open space. On one end some workers were building new walls for the castle. They seemed to be rather happy for they were all so happily singing while they work. Alexis trotted along the path of the market place, carrying Little Miss Alice, Dolly, and the BookWorm on her back. The bystanders were amazed at her pink feather and its stars, which had reflected beautifully under the sun.
Their castle was built with brown stones, all piled up neatly one row on top of another. Inside the castle was the market place where the inhabitants could bargain for the things they wanted to buy. There were fruits, vegetables, clothes, fabrics, food, and pottery. These were only some of the things that were displayed on the tables.
One kind lady called out to them all, and offered them something to eat and drink. Little Alice took what seemed to be cookies and ate heartily for they tasted good. When they finished eating, they all thanked the kind lady and went on the road once again.
At the distance, they could see the palace. It stood proudly under the sunlight. It had white walls, and red rooftops.
Alexis trotted along the path, and now she stood in front of the palace entrance. Little Miss told the guard at the entrance where they were from, and that they wish to see the King and the Queen.
They later learned their names to be King Jaron, and Queen Abreilla.
