Poets' Designs on Paper Moons is a collaboration between Mathys and Willey. Both poets started late in life but have come a long way with the help of two seasoned mentor poets who also provided poetry for the book. Poets' Designs is a love affair between poets and poetry. Cast in the modernist style of free verse sans punctuation, the focus is on image and emotion. The poets carry this off very well by a range of poems about life's most important moments—snapshots with a fine pen. Especially touching is the comparing of the elderly at a nursing home lined up along the wall with a row of old boots filled with memories of life's walk. Whether it be the seashore, the mountain top, first love, or last love, the seasons, nostalgia, or fate, Poets' Designs has a poem to meet your taste. Once you've read one of these enlightening poems, you'll want to read more.

"Poets' Designs On Parchment Moons" is a wonderful blending of two genuine and wise poetic voices. To me it is a heart-warming collection, powerful and generous, and even more so for being dedicated to two other brilliant poets, the very irresistible John Flanagan and Gene Williamson. I am so glad I have my copy! Congratulations Jon Michael and Carole on this wonderful book! Christine Tsen
