Spun from the eclectic and rich mind of a womansteeped deep in European oral traditions and twisty myths, CrowWoman is a trip through time captured by the emotional webbing of unwilling Pandora's, girls in muid and crow women who build their wings upon a dream and soar to unequaled heights.
CrowWoman and MudGirl is a spinnerette of dreams, a webbing of crystal nuances wound around female movements through the world; from the innocent edge of childhood smiles and sorrows to the eclectic, convoluted formations flesh and spirit take on in adolescence. It is the rich, trilling song of women with wings and the dark lament of the uncertain dance taken through the night of a neon world encapsulated in cocoons to be torn yet disinclined to shred the dangerous silks. This body of work is my
Selene's skin, her wine, her mud, her wings embedded in the curve of each word to form a dream that is best tasted with spirit and fingertips gently following the flow of lines. This is her myth life woven through modern day and old world beauties and horrors to form a cohesive tapestry of the most exquisite threads of thrilling joys and uncertain sorrows best eaten with a draught of spirit musings.

Amazing
Jilly
New York USA (2/27/2006) This book of poetry is amazing, beautiful. Skye-Deme writes in a style I've never seen before, it's like an exotic meal in an exotic land. It's almost as if she's allowing you to enter places inside a human being that most of us never open to anyone. The pain in this book is so deep, it's astonishing, the levels of emotion are expressed in unique ways, so that you see the colors of the moods in every word. City Indians had so many emotional nuances, it actually hurt reading it. I love this book, when's the next one coming out? Jilly
