Keeper of Happy Faces
Short Synopsis of the story: ‘Keeper of Happy Faces’ is set in an imaginary setting of Hidden Folk in the forest. The Council of Hidden Folk decides who should get what job as they become of age. Mel was coming of age and needed a job. He was very happy all of the time. There are many jobs listed in this story to tell what kinds of jobs the Council would decide one should have. All the positions are delightful. The Council is reminded of a position that needs filling and they find that Mel is perfect for the job and Mel soon sees that he is too.
REVIEW - Please describe what you thought of the book: ‘Keeper of Happy Faces’ is a delightfully, charming story for children that will make any child squeal and giggle with delight at the positions the Council has to offer “Hidden Folk”. I find the setting highly imaginable and titillating for the smallest of children. ‘Keeper of Happy Faces’ will surely put a smile on your child’s face.
