"Always there is hope," he said. "As long as the breath of life is in a man, he may turn away from his allegiance to Dagog and he will receive pardon and a Certificate of Redemption from Immon himself."
"Even if he lives all his years in the service of the Prince of the Darkness?" I said, both amazed and a little angry, he can change his mind at the last moment and share the Other Kingdom along with those of us who forsake all to serve the great King Immon--even from our youth?"
The Messenger smiled then handed me to Miarrow. "You will not lose your reward, little one." He turned away but not before I saw tears in his eyes.
