Excerpt of the review written by LK Gardner-Griffie:
The book is hardbound with a dust jacket that has iridescent sparkles on the word Wonderlicious. The illustrations that accompany the story are truly enchanting, with lots of vibrant color and activity on each page. The story is about Allyson herself and her dream from childhood of having her own bakery so she could create yummy treats for everyone. The story depicts Allyson as a child sneaking downstairs to bake while her parents slept because her passion for baking was so great. Then later she works with her friends to start the Wonderland Bakery. The story is meant to encourage youngsters to go after their passions and realize their dreams.

Dear Allyson,
Here are some one liners...
Sounds like Willie Wonka Land.
Perhaps this is Candy Land with cake?
How sweet it... is do you really bake?
Perhaps the weight watchers see this as a crime.
But then why don't you put words into petic rhyme?
Really, poetry would add more sweetness to your website.
Blessings,
John Michael |

| Very scrumptious. Kind of reminds me of this place I visited when very young. It was called "Fairy tale forest." I'm on the opposite side of baking, but I sure do occasionally enjoy some of those treats, gotta watch the diet. A very attractive story and enchanting as well; for young and old alike. Bravo to the author. |
